A route that crosses the renowned peninsula, surrounded by Lake Lugano.
The route heads towards Paradiso, where there is the option to ascend Monte San Salvatore, before continuing on to Pazzallo.
From there, the path winds through the forest to reach Alpe Vicania, surrounded by verdant pastures. The journey then leads to the Church of Madonna d'Ongero and its Stations of the Cross. The trail continues along gravel paths to Parco San Grato, an ideal spot for a break thanks to its rich botanical diversity. The route proceeds towards Carona, known for its charming historic centre, before reaching Ciona and Carabbia, and finally returning to Pazzallo along the same path, offering a fresh perspective.
Along the route, there are eleven information panels providing historical, cultural and natural insights into the places passed through.
