Malcantone hills gravel bike route

Route unfolding in the varied hilly area of Malcantone.

The route starts overlooking the Muzzano Pond, then continues along the Vedeggio River, discovering the Agno plain. 

From Bioggio you ascend towards Cademario, crossing the Ronchi vineyards. After the descent to Ponte di Vello, you follow the Magliasina River, arriving at the Maglio del Malcantone, a charming spot with waterfalls and an ancient mill. The journey continues towards Breno, Fescoggia and Vezio, passing through chestnut groves, then returns to Miglieglia, with a visit to the historic center and the possibility to climb Monte Lema. You cross the woods of Monte Mondini, then enjoy the lakefront of Caslano and the mouth of the Magliasina. The final panoramic stage along Parco Tassino concludes this nature-immersed adventure.
