The offer includes

  • A Dine Around experience with a choice of menus from different categories such as City Break, Nature and Pied dans l'eau (excluding Gourmet experience), valid for each overnight guest and for the person attending one of Lugano’s universities (USI, SUPSI or Franklin University Switzerland) 
  • A free guided tour organised by Lugano Region during the period of stay (subject to availability) 
  • Ticino Ticket, offering free public transport across the entire cantonal network and numerous discounts throughout the region (available to guests staying overnight in a hotel).

What is Dine Around?

Lugano Region, in collaboration with Sapori Ticino, offers a selection of gourmet packages allowing you to enjoy menus created by local chefs at Ticino Gourmet restaurants. Choose from a range of experiences and enjoy 3- or 4-course lunches or dinners at some of the finest restaurants in the Lugano region.

  • Dine Around “Gourmet” experiences are excluded from the offer.

  • To benefit from this extraordinary opportunity, simply book a stay of at least two nights at one of the participating establishments. 
  • The accommodation provider will send an online form to complete, including the details of the student (USI / Supsi / Franklin University) and those of the guests staying in the room, in order to receive the relevant vouchers
  • The reservation must be made directly on the sales portal of the accommodation facility.

Rates quoted are minimum rates, per person, per double room

  • The offer is valid only for family members of students attending one of the indicated universities (USI, Supsi, Franklin University)
  • The booking is subject to the conditions determined by the accommodation provider 
  • Rates are inclusive of VAT. Tourist taxes are excluded from the promotion
  • Offer intended only for participating accommodations and only for individual offers published on the page intended for the promotion
  • The availability of the offer will be confirmed by the accommodation facility at the time of booking
  • Overnight stays must be made at the same accommodation and consecutively
  • If the stay is cancelled, the right to the vouchers is forfeited
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
  • Offer subject to availability and while stocks last. Lugano Region reserves the right to block the offer once the available vouchers are exhausted

  • Each adult staying in the room, as well as the student enrolled at one of the specified universities, is entitled to a Dine Around experience (City Break, Nature or Pied dans l’eau)
  • The voucher is valid only during the period of stay
  • The printed voucher must be validated by the accommodation facility upon check-in

Upon receipt of the voucher, the restaurant must be booked as follows:

  • To reserve a table and enjoy the experience, please contact the restaurant directly using the number indicated on the website Dine around | Lugano Region
  • Reservations are subject to the restaurant's availability
  • Please check any additional conditions and notices provided by the individual restaurant for the selected experience
  • All menus include the number of courses indicated for each experience
  • Drinks are not included in the offer
  • All guests at the table are required to order the tasting menu
  • This voucher is valid for the persons indicated on the voucher at one of the participating restaurants
  • Drinks and any extra dishes must be paid directly at the restaurant at the end of the meal
  • Any allergies or intolerances must be communicated at the time of booking 
  • The voucher must be presented to the restaurant before taking a seat at the table.

  • Anyone booking this offer can join guided tours organised by Lugano Region free of charge by presenting the relevant voucher when making the reservation.
