With a maximum slope of 87.8%, the Ritom funicular is one of the steepest funiculars in the world. Built in 1921, the funicular offers unforgettable experiences and leads to the starting point of numerous excursions.

Located at an altitude of 1800-2000 meters above sea level and with a length of more than 8 km, the Val Piora with its countless alpine lakes, is the ideal setting for charming excursions on foot.

For example, the didactic trail of Lake Ritom, which runs along the lake on the left-hand side through the vegetation, with information boards that enrich the hike with hints about the naturalistic peculiarities of the Ritom-Piora region and the historical curiosities of the area.

The ride takes 12 minutes. Each ride can carry a maximum of 50 people. In case of strong turnout the races are continuous.
