Contemporary Art Exhibition

A journey through art, nature and technology

On the first floor of the Town Hall, an exhibition has been set up exploring Yuri Catania’s artistic path in our territory through a multisensory experience retracing the key milestones of his work since living in Rovio: from night-time flower photographs taken in the “secret garden” of CasaGalleria.ART using a torch, to the evocative images of Monte Generoso in elegant, melancholic black and white, to the introduction of astronaut figures and works overpainted with acrylic and oil colours.

An immersive and educational journey that investigates the relationship between humans, nature and technology.

Thanks to the integration of augmented reality and ultraviolet lighting, the artworks will reveal multiple layers of meaning, combining traditional and digital painting.
