Camper Area Tamaro

The Monte Tamaro cable car is closed due to replacement works from 2 September 2024 to the beginning of June 2025.

The Camper Area Tamaro is located on the Monte Ceneri pass and is a good starting point for excursions throughout the canton, such as to Monte Tamaro and the Splash and Spa, which are just a few minutes away. This is an exclusive parking area for camper vans, open 24 /24 h  all year round. You can access it at any time of day, as everything is done automatically and without booking.

The Tamaro Camper Area offers the following services:

• 80 spaces for camper vans
• Free Wi-Fi
• Fenced-off, well-lit ground with video surveillance
• Automatic pay station
• Entrance and exit with automatic barriers • Snack Bar across the street
• Dogs allowed
• Unloading of tanks and fixed boxes
• Drain of tanks and removable boxes
• Drinking water supply
• 80 sockets CCE (6 and 13 ampere)
• Waste disposal

There is also a big playground ready to welcome and entertain younger guests.

• From 2 hours to 12 hours CHF 1.70.- / hour
• From 13 hours to 48 hours CHF 1.20.- / hour
• From 49 hours to 96 hours CHF 1.70.- / hour
• From 97 hours CHF 5.00.- / hour
