Breno

Breno is located on a highland at the feet of the mount Torri, in the Alto Malcantone, next to Lugano. It has a population of about 300 inhabitants and it is at 798 meters above sea level. 

After the hairpins and the dizzy view on the typical Alto Malcantone panorama of woods and clearings, all of a sudden Breno appears. So small and so beautiful with its narrow lanes, the flowering fronts and the romantic arcs. Venture yourself on the thematic path that leads in the wood to the discovery of the earth of the chestnuts. The church of San Lorenzo that overhangs the hamlet is a place that deserves a visit.
