Nellimya Light + Land Art Exhibition

Light Art, which uses light as an essential focus of aesthetic and conceptual communication, finds a renewed dimension in this fitting space, created by the Nellimya architecture studio in Aranno in the green Malcantone forest.

In this house, light is life, breath, creation, contemporaneity, sharing, growth, hope, experience, work, friendship, hospitality, and also for artists in residence.

The works of Light Art and Land Art are a feather in the cap, in synergy and communion with each other, because they taste the sun and nature, as of earth and sky. They expand on the themes that have guided the work of the historic exhibition venue on Piazza Riforma, which is now closed due to the sale of the Stabile Federale.

Artists, collectors, art lovers, friends, and people passing through are all welcome in this art house. The residents thrive on company and exchanging ideas.

The artists on display are selected from the national and international scene. They are chosen for their elective affinities and coherence toward all that enlightens and makes one feel good.

Nellimya Arthouse is also home to several Associations offering courses, cultural meetings and personal growth seminars: Aranno LandArt (www.aranno-land.art), Rosa delle Donne (www.rosadelledonne.ch) and Sette Riti Tibetani Elisir (www.rititibetani.ch).
