ROAM represents a space, a moment, a carefully curated selection, off the beaten path. Each performance comes to life in a suspended micro-world made up of music and atmospheres that are impossible to replicate. A true outdoor club, where music is experienced up close, in an intimate setting within the unique surroundings of the Boschetto del Parco Ciani. ROAM is part of the packed event calendar of the Lugano LongLake Festival, which will enliven the Lugano summer from July 9 to 26, 2026.

Tarrus Riley is widely regarded as one of the most powerful and influential voices in modern reggae music. Born on April 26, 1979, in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Riley grew up immersed in the island’s vibrant musical culture. He is the son of legendary reggae singer Jimmy Riley, whose career in the 1970s and 1980s helped shape the roots reggae movement. Surrounded by music from an early age, Tarrus Riley developed a deep appreciation for the cultural and spiritual significance of reggae, eventually embarking on his own path in the industry.

A significant part of Riley’s success is due to his longstanding collaboration with renowned Jamaican saxophonist and producer Dean Fraser and the Blak Soil Band. Together, they have created a rich, authentic sound that has become a hallmark of Tarrus Riley’s recordings and live performances. Their collaboration has contributed to the creation of many of Riley’s most successful songs and albums.
