Lugano Piano returns for its second edition from August 21–23, 2026, transforming the city into an open-air stage where music and urban space come together. Conceived as an immersive cultural experience, the festival brings piano music beyond traditional concert halls, making classical and jazz music accessible to a broad and diverse audience.

Following the great success of its first edition in 2025, the festival continues its mission of enhancing Lugano’s courtyards, squares, and hidden corners through live performances and artistic encounters.

The 2026 edition will feature more than 70 concerts across 10 iconic locations throughout the city, scheduled from late afternoon into the evening to enhance the magic of summer nights.

Celebrating music in all its forms – from classical repertoire to jazz influences and crossovers – Lugano Piano offers a unique cultural experience where music, urban life, and community come together.

On 21 August, the festival will open with a concert at 8:15 pm.
On 22 and 23 August, there will be a morning concert from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a series of concerts at various venues across the city from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
