A moment of connection in nature, with the relaxed pace of an August afternoon. Letture in Natura (Readings in Nature) is a series of literary walks: we walk together along an easy path, pausing now and then to listen to a text read aloud.

This time the protagonist is a classic of Italian literature, one that lends itself to a light, at times comic interpretation — an invitation to slow down and enjoy the calm atmosphere of a wood of centuries-old chestnut trees, between one reading stop and the next.

Notes

• Sentiero del Castagno, Alto Malcantone. We'll read Il barone rampante (The Baron in the Trees) by Italo Calvino together.
• Easy path, suitable for everyone. No preparation needed: just comfortable shoes and the wish to listen.
• Participation by free donation.
• The reading will be held in Italian.
