“PANDEMONIUM OVER LUGANO” is an Indoor Fest that brings together the best of emerging metal in its various forms and styles. With a special focus on the underground scene in Ticino and Italy, this third edition will feature an absolutely impressive line-up. The headliners of the evening are Ponte del Diavolo from Turin, a band capable of creating a targeted mix of doom, black metal, post-punk, and wave. Riding the wave of their second acclaimed album "De Venom Natura," the band's rise continues with a series of prestigious dates for 2026, including Hellfest.
Co-headliners are the established Genus Ordinis Dei, with their symphonic death metal. Active since 2015 with five albums, the band boasts several notable collaborations and important European tours. For thrash metal fans, there are XENOS A.D., who draw inspiration from the giants of the genre. The trio has released three albums and played prestigious stages, including Wacken, and comes to Lugano for the second part of the 'Oppressor Over Europe' tour that started in May 2026. From the local scene, Noise in Myself return with a new lineup and new material, keeping their typical alternative progressive metal sound. Opening the show is The Giant Baba, a Milanese trio offering an interesting instrumental djent/prog metal with a big impact.

THE GIANT BABA
A Milanese instrumental band founded by Joe and Jackson, who are passionate about post-rock, metalcore, and experimental music. They aimed to create a musical project based on progressive metal and djent. 8-string guitars, rhythmic jazz-rock elements, post-metal touches, reverb, delay, distortion, and polyrhythms create a tapestry of spacey and dreamcore sounds where time, logic, and rules dissolve. They have released the album “Apocalypse” and the single "The Northern White Sun" (2024). The band is currently working on a new album set to be released in 2027, preceded by a single.

NOISE IN MYSELF
The band has released their self-titled debut album (2022) and the concept EP “Answers…” (2023), both under Wanikiya Record. After an intense live activity and some line-up changes, the band will end its journey at the end of 2024.
The new line-up, which includes soprano and vocalist Arianna Bellinaso (Aexylium) among others, will release the first single of this new phase on June 25, 2026. The Alternative Progressive Metal sound of NIM combines evocative melodies, powerful riffs, and complex rhythms, creating a personal and recognizable sound. Progressive and post-metal influences intertwine with ethereal atmospheres and echoes of spiritual and ancestral sounds, alternating between moments of strong emotional impact and more introspective passages.

XENOS A.D.
In the technical thrash metal of the Sicilian band XENOS A.D., inspirations from Slayer, Megadeth, Kreator, Coroner, and Testament come together.
The band has released the albums “Filthgrinder” in 2020 and “The Dawn of Ares” in 2021, but it is with their album “Requiem for the Oppressor” (2025) that the band really takes off, gaining praise and recognition.
The band's extensive live experience, having played prestigious stages like Area 53, Into the Grave Fest, Agglutination, and Wacken alongside genre giants, makes XENOS A.D. a guarantee and promises an unmissable show for thrash fans.
Despite the band's young age, each member has previously shared the stage with many major artists in the scene, such as Iron Maiden, Slayer, Megadeth, Destruction, and many more.

GENUS ORDINIS DEI
The Italian symphonic death metal band made its debut with The Middle (2015), and with the meeting of Marco Coti Zelati (Lacuna Coil), who produced the following EP.
The second album, Great Olden Dynasty, included the participation of Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) on the track Salem. The band then took part in the Delirium World Tour as a support act for Lacuna Coil and Forever Still, playing 31 concerts across Europe.
After signing with the US label Eclipse Records, the band shared the stage with bands like Dark Tranquillity, Suffocation, and Jinjer.
After another European tour in 2019, the band took part in June 2020 at Metalitalia Fest, along with Arch Enemy and others.
The third album, Glare of Deliverance, is the world's first metal music series: a 10-part story told through 10 songs and 10 cinematic music videos. In 2023, they released their fourth album, The Beginning, a second metal music series featuring 12 tracks and 4 video episodes. In 2024, the band released the single Eternal Cycle, featuring Ambre Vourvahis (Xandria). The latest album, The Land East Of Eden, boasts the incredible voice of Roy Khan (ex-Kamelot, Conception).

PONTE DEL DIAVOLO
Ponte del Diavolo creates a targeted mix of doom, black metal, post-punk, and wave – an aesthetic they call “Blackened Post-Punk.”
The female vocals with wave undertones anchor the fiery core of the project, supported by a rare double bass setup that drives the rhythm guitars and a raw, dynamic drumbeat. The result is an immersive and tension-filled sound.
After initially releasing three EPs, the band signed with the label Season of Mist and presented their first full-length album, Fire Blades from the Tomb.
After two years on tour – appearing at major European festivals like Roadburn and Inferno in support of their debut – Ponte del Diavolo return in 2026 with “De Venom Natura,” an album that expands and refines their musical boundaries and kicks off a European tour that will see them taking the stage at prestigious venues across Europe, including Hell Fest.
