Umberto Galimberti returns to Lugano, bringing an unmissable new show to the stage!

The philosopher emphasises the importance of ‘emotional resonance’, a process through which one understands the emotional consequences of one's behaviour. This lack, Galimberti argues, can lead to a failure to recognise the difference between good and evil, a principle that according to Kant should be intuitive. Galimberti points out that this intuitive perception is less evident in the younger generation.

These observations open up a broader debate on social and educational responsibility. If the ability to distinguish between good and evil is no longer intrinsic, significant questions arise regarding the emotional and moral education provided to young people.

The issue concerns not only families but also educational institutions, inviting reflection on the importance of an education that goes beyond the mere transmission of knowledge to embrace emotional and ethical development as well.
