Orchestra della Svizzera italiana
On Thursday 23 April, the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana is set to welcome one of the world’s most celebrated conductors, 36-year-old Lorenzo Viotti. Regarded as one of the most dynamic conductors of his generation, Maestro Viotti will conduct works by Maurice Ravel (the suite Le tombeau de Couperin), Alban Berg (the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, performed by violinist Veronika Eberle) and, to close the evening, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony.
