The summer event returns with the fifth edition of gARTen, from 3 to 5 July. A festival dedicated to the performing arts, ranging from prose, physical theatre, dance and music. The photographic exhibition by Marco Serventi, set up in the Foundation's garden, provides the backdrop. Three evenings open to all those who want to immerse themselves in a lively summer atmosphere, between art, music and sociality.
The official opening of the festival will take place on Wednesday 3 July at 7:00 pm, with drinks offered. Starting from 8:00 pm, the alumni of the Accademia Teatro Dimitri will offer their performances.
Annette Fiaschi and Max Haverkamp, with Today is the Day, bring to the stage a comedy show with acrobatics, juggling, rhythm and music suitable for all ages. Benjamin Koch and Julia Berger, in their Baum fällt, address the theme of deforestation, with simple but powerful images, sometimes dancing, sometimes theatrical. They investigate imaginative and concrete perspectives, thus creating a multi-layered collage. Elio Staub, in his performance In other words, explores the theme of love, through the lens of a romantic relationship between the character and a mannequin. Prince Bob, by Delphine Delabeye, is a piece that deals with a young man's difficulty in adhering to the patterns imposed by society and understanding his deepest nature. Daniele Bianco, with his The worker, brings to the stage a man forced to emigrate for work and forced to build a wall in front of which other migrants will be stopped. A monologue of paradox, with a strong sense of irony that leads to profound reflection.
