OSI al LAC tra Elgar e le "Mille e una notte" di Shéhérazade

A date at the LAC on Thursday 19 October with the Orchestra della Svizzera italiana and principal guest conductor Krzysztof Urbanski, for the second concert of the "OSI al LAC" season.

On the programme the splendid symphonic suite Shéhérazade by Nikolaj Rimskij-Korsakov and the Cello Concerto by Edward Elgar, soloist the Russian cellist Anastasia Kobekina, who replaces Daniel Müller-Schott, who fell ill in recent days and was unfortunately forced to forego his presence in Lugano.

In the meantime, the special rehearsal-concert "Lunch with OSI" returns on Wednesday 18 October at 12.30 pm at the LAC: Maestro Urbanski will explain all the secrets behind the Shéhérazade suite, alternating musical moments with the Orchestra with a real dialogue with the audience, who at the end will receive a take-away lunch included in the ticket.
