Concert on the occasion of the centenary of the Agno Philharmonic

Saturday: 20:30 – 22:00

Free entry

The town of Agno is preparing to celebrate a historic moment: the 100th anniversary of its beloved Philharmonic. On Saturday, December 2nd, the Agno community and music enthusiasts will gather in the elementary school gym for an evening of celebration and tradition. This free-entry event promises to be an unforgettable occasion for all.

The evening will feature a performance by the Lugano Singers' Choir, expertly conducted by Maestro Alessandro Benazzo. Their repertoire will range from popular melodies to the timeless songs of Van de Sfroos, offering the audience an exciting journey through the music of our land.

Alongside the choir, the Gandria Mandolin Group will enchant listeners with the sweetness of their strings, weaving harmonies and memories that touch the soul. To complete the experience, there will be Christmas carols to create that magical atmosphere that only the holiday season can evoke.

The evening will start at 8:30 pm, but the echo of the notes and the enthusiasm will resonate long in the hearts of those who attend. Join us to celebrate the centennial of the Agno Philharmonic and to pay tribute to the music that unites generations.
