Festival della Fiaba, Capriasca

Festival della Fiaba returns to Capriasca with exciting theatre and storytelling performances on April 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2025. There are offerings for young people, children, families, and everyone who wants to be carried away by stories brought to life by storytellers, actresses, clowns, and entertainers.

Welcome to the 12th edition of the Festival della Fiaba! We have created a space where you can be moved and delighted while admiring a variety of performances from national and international theatre companies. It’s also a place to spend a meaningful day experiencing a wide range of workshops and moments of relaxation.

The curtain will rise on Friday, April 4th, with the unmissable performance for young audiences: "Alfonsina Strada, a Race for Emancipation" (ages 10+). This is a true and extraordinary story, and we are proud to present this storytelling theatre piece to talk to young people about “a forgotten woman, hard-won rights, and roads yet to be traveled...”

The program continues on Saturday, April 5th, and Sunday, April 6th, with a carefully curated selection of workshops and performances: storytelling (with table puppets for the little ones), puppetry (with a historic puppeteer family), clowns (funny and poetic), stories (even edible ones...), and music. There will also be food trucks ready to satisfy your hunger, delicious snacks, and other entertainment to make the experience even more enjoyable!
