The aim of the Bocce Lugano & Dintorni Federation is to help, also with local clubs, to organise the various events that take place throughout the year with youth competitions, veterans' competitions, Ticino and national and regional competitions.

Another aim is also to continue to pass on the tradition of the game of bowls that has existed for over 100 years.

Nowadays, it is no longer just a game, but over the years has become a sport, where skill, training, concentration and so on are required if one wants to achieve good results.

These end-of-year events are very important and very well attended.

Let us mention just two of them: the 59th Swiss Cup and the 79th GP Della Vendemmia, an international couple competition.

The Federation's wish is for many more years of continuity for the game of bowls.

Centenary of Foundation Events: 1924 – 2024

• Saturday, 31 August: Ticino Youth Championship
• Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 September: Swiss Cup, national team competition
• Saturday 5 and Sunday 5 October: GP della Vendemmia, international couple competition
• 14 to 18 October: GP Fontana Print, regional paired competition
• 30 October to 2 November: Triad federation championship
