Lugano e-MTB Tour – Stage 5: Capanna Alpe Bolla – Morcote

Up to the characteristic village of Brè, we follow a trail through the forest where singletrail and dirt roads alternate.

Once you reach Brè, you pedal up towards the panoramic Monte Brè, then descend the other side of the mountain again towards Brè, where a dirt road leads us on the western slopes to reach Lugano. Here we cross the renowned Parco Ciani and follow the lakeshore to Melide, an intermediate stop in the small bay or at Swissminiatur. We continue towards Alpe Vicania from where we proceed mostly along dirt paths, first to reach Parco San Grato, which offers a varied and panoramic experience, and then to cross the renowned village of Carona with its characteristic alleys. We continue to Ciona where we take up a dirt road that accompanies us to the well-known Morcote. A must of the region that was awarded the title of the most beautiful village in Switzerland in 2016. Here you can return to Lugano by boat, taking advantage of a new perspective on the area, or by bus or train from Melide.
