Sentiero Monte Brè

This short route invites you to appreciate the beauty of the picturesque villages of Gandria and Brè, to enjoy the breathtaking view of the gulf of Lugano and to relax along a wonderful hiking path that pass through a pleasant wooded area.

The itinerary starts from the boat station in Gandria, at 276 m, and ends at the summit of Monte Brè, located at 915 m. Therefore to complete the excursion it is necessary to consider a rather important physical effort.

Gandria, a picturesque lakeside village at the foot of Monte Brè, deserves a visit before starting the walk along this route that develops in an enchanting wood. Once arrived in Brè it is interesting to walk along the narrow streets of this village rich of artistic istallations. The route is then completed in less than half an hour of extra effort. Once arrived in Monte Brè you will be rewarded by a stunning view of Lugano and the surroundings area.
