Astano

From the Tresa river to the characteristic village centre of Sessa and the peace of the Astano lake.

Starting from Ponte Tresa, running along the river of the same name, you arrive at Molinazzo di Monteggio, where the ascent towards the villages of Alto Malcantone begins. Running along the road, first reaching Sessa, where in summer you can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool at the Hotel I Grappoli, and then pass through the vineyards to Beredino, following the path to La Costa passing the Sessa Gold Mine. A dirt road through the forest leads to Erbagni, and then continues in the direction of Astano on a road through the natural scenery the region.
