Agriturismo La Stala

For those who miss the farm life of their childhood or wish to discover it, Agriturismo “La Stala” is the perfect place for you. Nursing cows, Highland cattle, donkeys, horses, pigs, rabbits, and hens and ducks that gift us fresh eggs daily. Animal welfare is at the heart of the farm’s philosophy.

You’ll meet Augusto, a magnificent example of the Black Alpine pig, with an impressive build. This ancient breed was saved from extinction thanks to organizations like ProSpecieRara and is renowned for the exceptional quality of its meat. You can also find the Appenzell bearded rooster and the Franches-Montagnes horse – all part of the ProSpecieRara network.

The animals live outdoors, enjoying wide open spaces. La Stala has specialized in several fields: restaurant, farming, livestock breeding, retail, active education, and horse boarding.

Guests can take part in “agri-experiences”: first discovering the farm, then learning how to make luganiga or fresh pasta, and ending with a tasting of their own creations.

We have stables that host private horses, and a small farm shop selling our products: fresh eggs, jams, pickled vegetables, pancetta, lard, luganiga, and more.

Let yourself be surprised and pampered by our rustic restaurant, offering refined dishes made with genuine, high-quality ingredients from our biodiversity-friendly garden, our orchard, and our animals — all in a welcoming, bucolic atmosphere.

The restaurant features a main room with a fireplace, furnished with reclaimed wood from old alpine huts and barns. There’s also a multifunctional grottino for private events such as birthdays and meetings, also with a cozy fireplace.

For children, we organize many activities: guided farm tours, creative workshops using natural materials, physical activities, sensory labs, forest education, and more.
