Monte Brè

The Monte Brè funicular railway takes just over ten minutes from Ruvigliana to the summit: a sunny natural terrace above the Ceresio, from which the entire gulf of Lugano can be seen, and whose splendid scenery extends as far as the view of the imposing Monte Rosa and the Bernese and Valais Alps.

On Monte Brè there is no lack of opportunities for a family outing: playground, picnic areas and grill, but also a treasure hunt in nature with geocaching. The summit is also a strategic starting point for wonderful itineraries immersed in nature, either on foot or by mountain bike. There are several areas of natural interest in the area, as well as artistic and cultural places that the picturesque village of Brè offers.
