Lugano – Gandria
Gandria is a romantic village nestled on the shores of Lake Ceresio, reachable either by land or by boat. Many tourists and locals enjoy the boat trip from Lugano and the walk back to Castagnola along the lakeside.
On the lake in front of Gandria is the Swiss Customs Museum, located in Cantine di Gandria and accessible by boat. Along the trail from Cantine di Gandria to San Rocco there are several grotti, ideal places to take shelter from the heat and to sample the typical Ticinese cuisine.
