MUSEC – Museo delle Culture

Housed in the historic Villa Malpensata on the Lugano lakefront, MUSEC – Museum of Cultures is a dynamic venue dedicated primarily to temporary exhibitions, ranging from ethnic and oriental arts to modern and contemporary art, without neglecting children's creativity. The museum offers a rich calendar of exhibitions that allow visitors to explore different themes and artistic languages. The exhibitions are designed to create a dialogue between cultures, eras and forms of expression, offering the public continuous opportunities for discovery and reflection. A small and refined selection of works from the MUSEC collections is exhibited on a rotating basis in the Spazio Tesoro, which is accessible free of charge.
