Lake Origlio Trail

An easy route in the Capriasca region, not far from the city center of Lugano. 

An ideal trip for those who want to escape into nature away from city chaos. Lake Origlio is the perfect place for relaxation and fun with company. The route mostly winds through the forests of Capriasca and leads out to the enchanting little lake of Origlio. Halfway through the trail, in the heart of the forest, we invite you to visit the medieval Tower of Redde, where you can glimpse parts of the buried ruins of the village of the same name and the adjacent oratory of San Clemente. In Origlio, you will find the typical village center and the church of San Giorgio, which overlooks the area. But the precious heart of Origlio is its lake, a genuine environmental gem of exceptional natural importance.
